About the Academy
The FIFA Talent Academy in Bhubaneswar is part of AIFF's national vision to enhance youth football development in India. Backed by FIFA’s global expertise, this residential academy is focused on identifying and nurturing elite talent (boys and girls) through structured training, holistic support, and high-performance culture.
Key Responsibilities
1. Academy Operations & Management
- Oversee the day-to-day functioning of the academy including training schedules, logistics, accommodation, and nutrition.
- Coordinate with technical, administration, education, sports science and other support staff to ensure a professional environment aligned with AIFF and FIFA standards.
- Ensure proper upkeep of facilities and effective use of resources including accommodation, food and training facilities.
2. Planning & Execution
- Assist in implementing the vision, mission, and development roadmap of the TDS program.
- Coordinate with AIFF’s technical and operational departments for match schedules, assessment reports, and training reviews.
- Maintain all administrative documentation such as player records, attendance, feedback reports, and compliance checklists.
3. Team & Staff Coordination
- Work closely with coaches, physiotherapists, fitness trainers, nutritionists to ensure smooth functioning.
- Support onboarding of new staff and facilitate coordination among various departments within the academy.
4. Player Welfare & Discipline
- Ensure the safety, welfare, discipline, and academic support for all resident players.
- Act as the primary point of contact for guardians and manage regular updates and communication with families.
5. Budgeting & Reporting
- Manage day-to-day expenses within the assigned budget framework.
- Submit timely reports to AIFF on operations, progress, challenges, and needs for improvements.
Qualifications & Experience
Essential:
- Graduate degree in Sports Management, Physical Education, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 4–6 years’ experience in sports administration, operations, or residential academy management.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multi-stakeholder environments and coordinate among technical and non-technical teams.
Preferred:
- Experience in football academies or grassroots/youth football programs.
- Knowledge of AIFF/FIFA development structure.
- Technical licenses (AFC/AIFF/UEFA) are not mandatory, but will be considered an added advantage.
